What is Mukhyamantri Mahila Samman Yojana

Mukhyamantri Mahila Samman 2024 scheme, women above 18 years of age in Delhi will get financial assistance of Rs 1000 every month. The financial assistance amount provided by the Delhi Government will be sent to the bank account of women through DBT (Direct Benefit Transfer).

An amount of Rs 2000 crore has been allocated for the operation of this scheme in 2024-25 for the welfare and empowerment of women. So that financial assistance can be provided to more and more poor and needy women of the state. This scheme will be operated by Women Welfare.

To provide economic benefits to the women of Delhi, The Delhi Finance Minister (Atishi Marlena) announced the launch of Mukhyamantri Mahila Samman Yojana during the budget speech in the state assembly on March 4.

Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal has described it as the world’s biggest program for women empowerment. This zodiac sign will help women to fulfill their needs without depending on anyone else.

Eligibility for Mahila Samman Yojana

The terms and conditions of this scheme have been implemented by the Delhi Government, according to which women registered as voters in Delhi will be eligible for this scheme provided that they are not getting the benefit of any other scheme and neither are they government employees nor income taxpayers.

To avail of the benefits of Mahila Samman Yojana, any eligible woman will have to fill out the application form and also give a self-declaration that she is not a part of any government scheme, nor is she a government employee nor pays income tax. Only based on self-declaration, the woman will start getting the benefits of this scheme.

The eligibility list are:

• The woman applying for Chief Minister Mahila Samman Yojana must be a voter of Delhi.
• Economically weaker women of Delhi state will be eligible to receive benefits.
• To avail the benefits of this scheme, women above 18 years of age will be eligible to apply.
• The bank account of the applicant woman should be linked to the Aadhar card.
• Women who are receiving government pension, or pay taxes to the government, will not be eligible for the scheme.

Mahila Samman Yojana When will you get the 1st installment?

While talking to India’s chief correspondent Brijesh Singh on Tuesday, Finance Minister Atishi tolled when will the women of Delhi get the amount of Rs 1000.

Atishi said that now the election code of conduct will be imposed. Which will take one to one and a half months. During this time, we will complete other processes including the cabinet proposal.

Mahila Samman Yojana will be notified only after the elections. The scheme will be implemented only after the Lok Sabha elections. After that, application forms for Mahila Samman Yojana will be asked.

After receiving the application, its scrutiny process will start. After this, the first installment of Mahila Samman Yojana will arrive in the bank accounts of women by September and October.

As far as allocation is concerned, the amount of Rs 2000 crore is for the first year and its budget will be increased next year.

To apply under Mahila Samman Yojana, these documents will be required such as follows:

After confirming the eligibility of the scheme, your application form will be accepted through offline mode in which the possible process of applying is described as follows:

• To apply, first of all, you have to go to your nearest Women’s Welfare Department.
• As soon as you come here, you will have to get the application form of Delhi CM Mahila Samman Yojana from the attending officer.
• After taking the application form, you will have to enter the necessary information asked on it.
• After filling out the application form, all your important documents like Aadhar Card, Voter ID Card, Bank Passbook details, etc. will have to be attached with the form.
• After attaching the documents, check the application form filled out yourself carefully. Otherwise, the form may be canceled.
• Even after the completion of the process, they submit their application form to the office related to the scheme.
• After you apply form, your form will be verified by the officer after eligibility is confirmed.
• Under this scheme, a fixed amount of ₹ 1000 per month will be transferred to your DBT account.
